Hi All,
I have a pair a QSC 540’s on a aluminum boat, painted deck not carpet or rubber mat. I am looking to reduce some engine noise. I have 50mm foam with silver lining through the engine room, the hatches have a thick coat of https://www.mascoat.com/sound-damping-and-control.html sprayed on them. Most of the noise is 2200 rpm+ at cruise speed . While I can add another layer of something to the hatches the turbo only has a heat shield and the exhaust have Fiber glass wrap tape.
More sound insulation on the hatches or turbo and Exhaust blankets? Or both?
Thanks Luke
