Short story long. Was on a plane cruising and bam ran a ground. We have some shoaling developing in side the channel in my area. Bow started to float and the high winds yesterday basically spun me off the sand and was able to get home. I noticed that that starboard transmission is slowly spinning in reverse when in neutral.Ā 98 carver 400 cpmy. Twin 6bta 5.9 370 diamonds with zf85a 2:1.Ā had the marina haul the boat and a lot of damage.Ā port strut is bent, propellor is shot, shaft is bowed but needs to be checked.Ā Starboard side strut is bent as well as the shaft being bowed. Propellor looks intact but needs to be sent out.Ā what is nuts is going home after this no vibration was present. My biggest concern is the drivetrain.Ā what should I look for and document for myself before insurance looks at it. Ā
