    just would like a clear answer on the actual capacity in a new to me qsm 670 .i am look for the total capacity with filter

    You CANNOT measure or gauge TOTAL SYSTEM capacity.. You can only measure OIL PAN Capacity, engine off sitting at the dock Ā The number for you engie are in the ling–DO NOT exceed thouse on your engine as it is very susceptible to oil pan windage or “oil whipping” and can turn the oil into a milkshake– IMO, the sump on the QSM ( front sump) design is backwards for 90+% of the boat out there..
