    Where does a QSL store its engine hours?  In the ECM or in the Tach?  

     

    If a used vessel view display (with say 7000 hours on it, from a previous engine) got plugged into a QSL ECM with 1200 hours on it what would show up for engine hours on the Vessel View?

    Engine hours are stored in the engine computer and cannot be changed… the correct hours will be displayed regardless of which panel you install
