    Hi All,
I have limited clearance above my heat exchangers ( 3 inch). Has anyone put a sight glass into a heat exchanger before? At present I can only take the cap off and put a bent finger into it and have no idea of colour ect other than I get some blue liquid on my finger.
I have seen them on MTU and Scania.

As I am new to QSC’s. Other than the aftercoolers, heat exchangers, anodes, oil and filters is there any other service items I need to look for? Oil spinners, coolant filters ect?

    thanks Luke

Do they seem to work as designed, meaning between cold and hot the level rises 1-2″ and goes back down t the cold level as things get back to ambient temps?

    Thanks Tony,
I have a good visible overflow bottle in place, but its always nice to see the level as well.

I would say you best & practical solution here is a properly set-up coolant remote mounted expansion bottle–This should be standard from the builders installation..
