So I need a new ecm some time as the wif sensor part has died( I have been clearing it for 2 years now..). I tried swapping it engine to engine and the alarm went with the ecm. It is shitting me enough now and I dont want to just clear a alarm in case it is something important every time I start.

Can I get any 2 port and power ( for QSC) , then get it reflashed and the data transferred across? Or do I need to get one the right code and then current reflash and transfer the data.

I am still waiting on Cummins for a price and option from them. Thought I would ask the brains trust here.

Your post is not easy to really understand exactly what the issue is………….But if it is really related to the WIF, IMO you do not need a new ECM or have it reprogrammed..

You have a typical Mercury “S-Crap” glitch and most of the time it can be solved by installing a “WIF FAKER”–Corey designed them………….. Drop him a note……
