I have a Qsb 6.7 . Runs fine in neutral and forward . When I shift into reverse it runs fine , but when I rev up any in reverse it stalls out . starts back up and runs fine .
The linkage is properly adjusted . Mechanical shift zf280a gear
    No neutral safety switch
     nothing in the running gear
possibly in the throttle pot connection?

just started recently engine has about 4k hours.

I will take some pics when I go to the boat tomorrow.

the throttle pot is not in the best location and has gotten slightly rusty over the years,  cleaning the connections is on the priority list.

When did this symptom start happenning?

I want to see good pics:

    Complete engine installation–everything

Controls top andf under the dash connections

Transmission that shows the shift valve, linkage, etc

I want to see the throttle pot
