    I’m looking at Pyro/EGT install options via NMEA to my MFD’s, there’s a couple of options out there however the only probe available wont fully extend into the exhaust elbow as shown in the pic,I doubt it’s going to give a true temp reading.

    Any input appreciated.

    From what I can see, the K-type probe is much better suited for your application…

    NMEA EGT

    Ive been swapping emails with them about enabling alarms to my Simrad’s and tip sizes, still waiting on confirmation.

    Not sure what you are looking at, but typically brass should not be used for continuous temperatures above about 500F.

    Is that really a Pyro/EGT probe or is it intended for some lower temperature application?

    Who is offering a kit to bridge the EGT to N2k? Do they have docs/specs etc.?
