I just had my boat pulled for bottom paint and the starboard prop nuts have backed out to the pin.  This has happened every time I’ve had the boat pulled over the past 10 years even when the mechs are advised and try to torque it hard.  What could be used this time to get the nuts to stay in place?  FWIW the shafts are 2” and the props are CJR nibral.

    Thanks

Here’s two references for you, a video and an article.

In the first link, the video, Brendan goes through the full prop install starting at approx the 5 minute mark.  At around 7:30 he installs the 2nd nut with epoxy.
