    Have 6bta 5.9 315hp cpl 1975 with 1818 hours on it. Running fine no smoke or issues. Doing my end of season once over removed Seaboard air filter to check turbo. Clean as a whistle and spinning freely.  But I did notice a very very small nick in one of the fan blades almost unseen, can’t get a good picture. 

    Should I be concerned? Don’t have any idea how it got there maybe always?

    The blades are aluminum and small nicks are more common than  many think or see..

    IMO, not not worry.
