    Hello forum members.
I have a chirping serpentine belt at 600 idle rpms.
Doesn’t seem to be an issue after 17 hrs of running time.

    Anyone with a QSB 5.9 have a “chirper” ?

    Regards, Bill D

    I’ve owned five 6BTA 370s.

I’m new to owning a Tier II QSB 5.9.

    I’m still learning the engine.

I don’t think I’ve seen an upgrade or need to upgrade a belt tensioner on a new Recon QSB 5.9 ??

    Anyone ???

Does QSB have option for higher tension tensioner as B series does? I upgraded on my B per Tonyā€™s suggestion and it solved my chirp ā€¦

Either that belt has taken a set and is making the tensioner work overtime or the tensioner is not doing itā€™s job. Either way that belt seems lose or out of shape
