MDL 4 / 423L Cummins operating temp

Hello Guys,

I have a 423L on a 20KW Onan Gene. I was curious how hot should the block be if I’m shooting it with a temp gun. I see the exhaust elbow before the raw water is about 238F

at normal running under load, 114F after raw water. Temp at oil pan was around 218-220F.

On a different note can anyone tell me how to trip the sensors manually, like oil pressure sensor, low oil sensor, coolant temp and over rev sensors. I just want to make sure they all work, since there had been some modifications in the past.
