I have had an issue with water and algae in my tanks this year.  The fuel polishing mechanic pulled a bunch of water out of the tanks, mostly port. He mentioned that I may have a leaking fuel cooler.  How would I know? 2002 GB 42 Twin 6CTA 8.3 2 300 gallon tanks with transfer hose open to allow tanks to stay even.  Thank you in advance. Art

If you had a leaking fuel cooler, your fuel tank would over fill with raw water in just a few hours of running.

Deck fills or fuel tank vents are most likely  your issue–Or you fuel supplier?
