I have a 1999 Maxum 4600 SCB with twin 6BTA 5.9M2 Cummins diesel engines. There are two alarms, one port and the other starboard at the helm. These alarms will go off (sometimes port, sometimes starboard) when the boat is on plane, usually running at 2700 rpm. I have checked water temp, oil pressure and all are normal. I do not want to disable these alarms. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply. I will go back and check with the Maxum forum. I do have access to the wiring schematics so we can take a look at that. Thank you.

What do they “alarm”? If you don’t know, that would tell me Maxum left a lot of room for improvement..

Have you tried a “Maxum Forum” ..

Got some good pics of the various senders & “switchs” on the engine?

    Have a Maxum wiring diagram?

This would not be a direct “Cummins type question”..This is an OEM type question………….
