If I freshwater flush do I need aluminum “ zincs”?

I hooked up a convenient freshwater flush portal for my diesel and use it regularly. The boat may sit for 5-7 day intervals thereafter.

Some have suggested that I should switch my zincs to aluminum as the current zincs can become coated and therefore ineffective. 

On the other hand, I am unsure if aluminum anodes are recommended for my motor.
