I have a 6.9 qsb with a zF63a gear box. I am looking into installing stabilizers and am looking for suggestions on connecting the pump. It looks like it may need to be shaft driven but have been unable to find information.
    Ideas?
    Thanks

    Rob,

Thanks for posting this pics, common Vicker V-10 seems to fit well on a 6.7 and the ports are accessible..
You saved us all a lot of time.

This looks like a standard 6.7 not the SL model, correct?

If not sure, post a serial number or get back a few feet and post a pic of the engine side of the engine ( actually better for me) .

    vickers pump

Just an update for future info. The vickers pump fit with plenty of clearance for anyone contemplating this exercise. side ports for even more flexibility.

    engine supplier

The engine is in a new north pacific NP45 so i am not sure who supplies them with there engines. We only have 380 hours on it so far. I have had hatton marine out at the boat checking on some noise so i would say they are who i would call for any work.

Here are a couple of pages from the 6.7 MAB referencing you inquiry.. Who is your supporting dealer distributor? Where did the engine come from?

    do you know the rotation

The manufacture ask me the rotation and rpm vs the crank shaft. Do you have this information?

Thanks tony. Do you know if the PTO rpm matches engine speed or is it a fraction of the rpm?

The 6.7 does have a provision for a SAE A live PTO Adding the PTO pad is straight FWD….We stock them.. Finding a HYP PUMP what will physically fit on the pad and then will then allow you to hook up lines to is will be a challenge.

    cummins

I made several errors in my post. I shouldn’t do things by memory. I have a 355hp QSB 6.7 and a ZF85a gearbox. The boat is a single engine 2019 north pacific NP45. The stabilizers i have been looking at are Kobelt 7.5. I will be at the boat tomorrow and can get a photo. I was talking to a fellow np owner and he indicated there was a provision for an SAE-a pto pad but i am not sure. Another friend did a install and made a custom mount to couple the pump the the front of the vibration dampner.
