After installing the SBM DD filter system, I want to plum it so I can bypass these filters in the event of an at sea clogged filter. I have a separate filter system using FS1218 and a Morco pump. I can easily plum this system to feed both my engines in case of a failure.

This pump is capable of 2.5 GPM and up to 20PSI. Is it OK to have this feeding my engines? My current system is gravity feed, so I don’t know what kind of head pressure is acceptable.

    Thanks

    Doug

20 PSI is OK–Ā  Be sure youĀ  put monitoring gauges on the custom system.
