    After running a few hours yesterday we stopped at our destination and started to smell something burning. Opened the engine hatch and found smoke coming from the solenoid. Went to shut off the key but motor Stayed running so I lifted the lever on the solenoid to shut it down. Now the motor won’t do anything at all, won’t crank just completely dead. The motor is a 6bta 5.9 315 hp.
    Thanks for the help and figured I would ask first before I start ripping stuff apart.

    Really not something that can be “solved” over a forum. You need to do investigate all with a multimeter starting at the engine battery and working your way back to the engine and ignition/start circuit. Keep us posted…
