    I didn’t find anything in a search.
My motor is a QSC 8.3. In normal years, my boat comes out of the water in October or November. Boat is stored in a garage that will rarely get to 20*. Motor is flushed with fresh water and then antifreeze is run through with protection to about -25*. The boat is usually launched in May or June.
This summer, with just about every fishery being messed up and unable to sell my catch, I will probably not launch at all. Next anticipated launch would be Spring 2021.

So, is my motor all set to sit “as is”? Should I start it a couple times this summer and let it get to temp and re-winterize in the fall? I had heard back in the day that there was concerns about gaskets drying out. Anyone have tips for long term storage?

    Thanks

Iā€™d make sure and replace the raw water impeller before you launch. After sitting all that time itā€™s sure to have taken a set.

Also oil and all filter change, fresh charge on the battery and go boating.

Bummer you canā€™t get out and fish this year….
