    Hi All,
Would a Cummins QC5100 Quick Check be of any use?
If so how much would one pay 2nd hand? One has just come up at a end of project auction.

    Thanks Luke

You have a Mercury Diesel View and Outboard type link gauges..

But I see you are into large Displays.. Why not just go to NEMA 2000 and put it all on a real screen–Your computer puts out all you need–Use just need something to “read it”..

    Thanks Tony,

I have smart crap v 1:(. Gauges and screen.

It was more I suppose if it could help with any alarms testing sensors ect. I figured if I get it for $200 it may not be a bad thing?

I have read about them and DO NOT feel they would be of any use if you already have proper DIGITAL INSTRUMENTATION that displays all the ECM Data it sends out under its base J-1939 protocol..

If you have “SMARTCRAP” instrumentation (one of the many variations of Mercury instrumentation), IMO you are driving blind………………………………………………..

What exactly are you “looking at” when driving you boat? Got some pics?
