Morning from the UK – Have just acquired a new to me boat with Cummins mercruiser QSB 5.9s with Zeus pod drives and joysticks.
One has failed – been connected to the computer and says ‘axis failed’ – does anyone out there know if these can be repaired or is it just a straight swap out for new ? – the components that would be required to make a joystick operate, one would think are fairly simple / cheap so interested to know if repair is an option – UK aftercare for Cummins not huge…

    TIA
    Nick

You own a boat with a drive train and an electronic system on the QSB 5.9 that is now supported by Mercury, NOT CUMMINS.. .. Not sure how well Mercury is set up in the UK as to offering support?
In California, it’s sad at best when it comes to ZEUS stuff.

Maybe some watching here had had a similar issue and will offer some guidance.
