Canvas Cover & Throttle Position

Random question but figured I’d ask to be sure…

I just had a canvas cover made for my lower helm.  It covers my hynautic throttles and shifters.  When the canvas guy did the template he had the throttles pushed up about half way instead of all the way down in the idle position.  Question is…will any harm be done by leaving the throttles pushed up while not using the boat?
