We get this squeal after the boat sits for a week or so. Any ideas? Thanks.

Belt was loose. Fired her up and no squeal. Stuffed my head in front of the engines and noticed both belt tensioners had a little noise coming from them. Hit the, with some lubricant and now things sound right.

One some point both the seawater pumps leaked as both mounts below the pumps are not looking great.

    Thanks for the info.

Just looked at the video — Your seawater pump is stuck.. Chances are it’s been leaking saltwater thru the water seal for sometime and the bearings are done.. Plus the belt may need tightening, but that would be a band-aid at this time and not fix the parent issue. You need to inspect it all properly

You have 2 “water pumps” Specify SEAWATER pump or coolant pump–

For sure, I have seen the seawater pump stuck.. I have never seen the fan hub bearing “stick solid”, just fail.

Just watched this and you can see the water pump belt not spinning at start up.
