    Hello,

    A question regarding heater hook-up location on a 6CTA.

I’d like to add the heater hook-up loop to the hot water heater and hoping someone can confirm I have the location of the return (low pressure) correct.

I have reviewed the location in Tony’s Tips, https://www.sbmar.com/articles/heater-hookup-ports-for-your-b-c-series-cummins/

My hook-up will be on my starboard engine and on that engine the coolant filter is on the left side of the engine (belt facing forward), which is opposite to Tony’s picture. On the left side of the engine, there is the same take-off to the coolant filter that my port engine has (on its right side). I believe I just take the plug out, add the valve and I’m golden. Because it is a different location than is in Tony’s tips, I just want to make sure before doing so. Will edit to add a couple photos as I don’t see any means to attach them now.

    Thanks,
    Tom
