    Hi

I have made up a test rig to test my Aftercooler.

Just checking, to prevent damaging the core – is there a ‘maximum torque’ for the threaded rod?

Does it matter what rubber I use for the gaskets too?

    Cheers

Thanks heaps Rob. I have some neoprene sheet that sounds like the go.

    Cheers

Neoprene sheet, like +/- 3/8″ works great. Plenty of buying options on Amazon or any rubber that you may already have that you can get to seal will work, easy enough to test with some soapy water. No need to go goofy tight on the threaded rod, just snug them up good to make your seal
