    Looking for some help with correct belhousing or BH and adapter plate to marry a 6C8.3 Cummins to a ZF IRM310PL transmission. Any input would greatly appreciated, Thank You

    99%+ of all Factory supplied 6CTA 8.3 marine engines have SAE#3 housings and SAE 11.5″ flywheels. However, that can be changed to SAE 2/11.5″ or even SAE#1/14″…. The old ZF310 may or may not be readily adapted to SAE#3…………That’s a big gear & has been out of production for 20+ yrs?? The “adapter plate” would be a ZF part, not a Cummins part.
