    I have 1997 40’ Carver with Cummins 6BTDA 5.9 M3 330 hp diesels. The props are 20×21. What rpm’s should I be running at?

    Thanks so much Tony! I actually got the numbers off my original survey as I am not with the boat at the moment. Maybe they threw the D in there for Diesel? not sure, but I really appreciate the information.

    Look at your data plate–I think you have mis-placed letter

    Either way.. If you have “330 Diamonds,” 6BTA 5.9 M-3 315/330’s then your WOT “accurate RPM” loaded as you use the boat should be 2900+ ..

    Cruise at 2500 or less..
