6bta ZF 220 A oil change

Looking to change the oil in my ZF 220 A . The boat is was current hauled for the winter would you recommend doing the change while the boat is in the water? Also I plan on replacing the oil coolers in the spring . Should I wait to do it all at once ? What oil do you recommend and is it 4 quarts ? To confirm the filter is the hex on the port side correct ? Can these be cleaned or is a full replacement needed ?

I would do it all at once when the boat is in the water but doesn’t really matter IMO. you may have to tweak the level after you run it. Yes the screen is cleanable.
