    Hi there,

    Quick question. In the attached photo of the oil heat exchanger where is the anode. The small plug in the lower left end seems very small.

    On the Cummins factory supplied transmission oil cooler shown here (6BT 5.9), there is NO real provision for an anode.Ā  The small 1/8″ NPT port / plug was put there to drain the coolant/seawater , or maybe for a seawater feed to a shaft log?..

    Maybe we should ask, what were they thinking?
