Just purchased the 160 degree T stat package from SB.  I will be doing work to my HX and coolant system in the spring.  No overheating issues, just 22 years old and a good time to change up.  I have a new coolant pump with O ring for the 6BT in the shop.  My question, what would be a good sealant to use on the metal to metal surface of the T stat housing and the coolant pump flange to the block?  Reto-seal, yellow or blue?  Or is there another product like a gasket maker?  I will use Metalube on the bolts for sure, always use that stuff.  Just thinking about anything other than the O ring style seal on both.

    Thanks in advance.
