    Pulling the engines from the boat as it’s the least invasive way to access a fuel tank issue we have.

    In an ideal world I’d make a timber support frame to sit them on but I’m struggling for materials.

    So the question is, can I sit these things down on the cast alloy sump once out of the boat or absolute no-no?

    Yes, if the surface is flat.. The cast aluminum sump is solid. Steady the engine as it can be easily pushed over
