I’m looking to replace my engine mount brackets as they appear to be deteriorating beyond repair.

These are the 90 degree brackets that the Barry mounts sit atop and are attached to the stringers. (see pics)

    The engines are Cummins 6BTAs.Ā

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to purchase these?Ā

Also, any suggestions on engine rust removal that won’t take me the rest of my life to complete…. LOL

As always, any and all suggestions are much appreciated!!!!

    Good evening Mr. Schepis,

Thank you for your help on this.

I’ve attached a photo that better depicts the one I’m most concerned about.Ā  Luckily, it is the one that is most assessible.Ā  (STB engine, aft, inner)Ā

I’m not sure what you mean by “webbed”

Sounds like I may have to find a metal fabrication company here locally.Ā

    Thanks again for your time.

Those angle brackets are not an off the shelf purchase, they were fabricator supplied.Ā  They look structurally okay so prep and paint should do them, no?Ā  I’m surprised they are not webbed but it appears they are holding up okay?
