      August 19, 2019 at 9:40 pm iv got a question for you guys, hopefully some one has gone through this or has this set up so that I can make a decision. im looking at a repower for my commercial fishing boat. currently it has twin detriot 8.2s. the boat is set up keel cooled and dry exhaust as most bay boats where designed that way back in the day. id like to keep my boat set up this way if at all possible. im interested in the qsb5.9, my question is it possible for the cumm…

      August 20, 2019 at 10:29 am Not sure who did it, but I know there are some Shore boats in the Bay that installed the 305 HP 5.9 QSB with good results with the same setup. That is the max HP that can be keelcooled with jacket water in the aftercooler, as far as I know.
