      December 8, 2019 at 4:20 pm G’day Any one know why the VDO Oil pressure Gauge (Starboard Engine only) will jump up to max (150psi) from its normal pressure of 89/90 psi, this only happens after 2000rpm….thanks

      December 9, 2019 at 3:58 am Are you using a Fleetguard oil filter? Have you checked and cleaned all connections, grounds included? Sounds high to begin with – Consider setting up a mechanical gauge on the main oil galley that can be read underway.

      April 19, 2019 at 12:08 am G’day Out cruising today and smelt a weird smell on my Cummins 6BTA 5.9, had closer look and it was coming from the alternator. Took a temp reading and it was 109c the port was 87c………. Any ideas or am I in for a new alternator Thanks

      April 24, 2019 at 3:52 am Pierre, DVM = digital voltage meters. Here’s the article I was referencing. Looks like you have a nice setup.       February 24, 2019 at 1:10 am Got this leak and all my mechanic does is fix everything but the leak, cannot seem to track it down, it seems to becoming from behind the filter, any idea.
