ZF transmissions slow shifting.

3 years ago December 30, 2020 at 9:37 am I bought this Carver 53 1999 last year with twin Cās coupled to ZF 301A.2 transmissions. On both engines the delay to shift in forward or reverse is 2 seconds. The controls account for maybe .25 seconds and transmissions delay after lever is moved is 1.75 seconds. Oil is 30 grade. I have a video of the shift delay but cant get it on this site. This delay is very annoying on windy days. What can be done, and any reference for a reliable mechani…

19 RepliesApril 23, 2021 at 8:06 am I have now replaced the Twin Disc EC-100 electronic controls that were said by dealer to be obsolete since 20 years.(were installed new 21 years ago)!!!!! Shifting is still about 1.75 seconds on stopwatch. Both trans are the same. Still trying to find a solution.Last Post by:

6cta/450 Diamond intake plug w 3/4 he cap

6 years ago May 17, 2017 at 9:18 pm Any idea what the tread and pitch is on the 6cta / 450 diamond intake plug? (3/4 HEX HEAD)?? I need a bushing from that to 1/4 npt for a pressure transducer. I am 11hrs from home, so I don’t have access to tools to drill and tap it… Thanks in advance.
