December 5, 2020 at 2:27 pm Im looking for info on how to test to see if my exhaust pressure is correct and that I am not having back pressure issues. I have Twin Cummins 6bta 5.9 370 hp engines. Boat is a 1989 Atlantic Express. Boat was I believe originally gas powered. At some point during its ownership it was repowered with Cummins 6bta 5.9 370 hp engines and the exhaust system was corrected to accommodate the engines, however I don’t know how or if it meets the…

June 29, 2020 at 2:24 pm My twin Cummins 6bta 5.9 370 hp I ran under full load today and got 2600 rpm on port motor and 2400 rpm on starboard motor. I ran a tad over 28 knots. I couldnāt get anymore out of them. They ran strong and it seemed like they would go more if they good. No hesitation, no smoke, ran very clean, seemed strong. Both are new long blocks with 100 hours. Both have new turbos, new injectors, new lift pumps, new cables, new fuel lines, new smx double …
