Upon impeller implosion, elbow temp got to 250f

210 6BT, impeller failed and I noticed 210f on the engine temp gauge, checked temp at the mixing elbow and it was 250f. Not sure if big exhaust hose got damaged getting that high? Engine runs fine and all temps are good, upon new super 71 impeller installation. Not sure if I should be replacing the exhaust hose as well, its like 5 or 6in diameter and about 6ft long. Thanks for the advice

If silicon the hose would be fine but if EPDM rubber it would be worth removing for inspection as I have seen them range anywhere from 200F to 280F max temp….
