    Good Afternoon  can anybody give me a serial number for a starter motor for a cummins b5.9 that has a starter ring with 160 teeth

    Why is the  existing starter  wrong?     Wrong voltage or something else?

    Thanks for the reply and in answer to your questions engine was made in england in 1994 

    Its 210 hp  i do have photos of the flywheel can they be attached on replies?

    We believe the engine came out of a lorry and is now in a boat with the wrong starter motor hence my problem

    What or where did the engine come from? Good pics of the flywheel? Is the engine from China?
