    I have the SMX ED-4 Marine Diesel Displays on my 38 Pursuit and the starboard display suddenly looks like burned. What causes this? Can it be fixed?

    I did not read your post title closely enough and I just reviewed your pics. I was thinking you needed to replace the originals with the SMX displays. That is already done so I will back out and hopefully Corey Schmidt chimes in.

    Thanks Steve,

    My displays were bought from Seaboard Marine by previous owner, they aren’t the original Cummins displays. They didn’t last too long, could this be related to high temperatures? I always put the original covers on them when not in use and the cockpit area can get really hot during the day.
