Rubber Boot for Fuel Solenoid?

6BTA 370hp M3, CPL1975.

Just noticed the rubber boots under the fuel solenoids on both engines have split. Is it necessary to replace these in a dry protected engine room? If yes, can the boot alone be sourced or am I up for a new solenoid? (If anyone has part numbers handy, I´d appreciate hearing it.)

Replacement Boot Found

In case it helps someone else, I found replacement boots are in fact available for just $9: here’s the source I used

If you want the boots then look at vendors such as Blue Seas,  Cole Hersey along with many specialty wiring vendors  such as  GenuineDealz .com  and such.

Take apart the solenoids.. Clean all and lightly grease the plungers, etc etc.. “Split Boots” are not mission disabling, but binding linkage and rust is.. I have never seem a part number for a boot..
