    Greetings, happy 2023

    I have the 370 6BTA engines.
    Down stairs I have mechanical gauges for the motors but up stairs I have mechanical gauges with a digital RPM display

    The digital display shows 9999 on the screen when I’m running.
    It sometimes changes but is completely inaccurate 100% of the time.

    Any ideas?

    I am not familiar with your setupĀ  but more info is needed for anyone to start to help.

    It might help if you told us exactly which guages you have. including the digital unit.Ā Ā 

    Mechanical guage or Electrical guage?Ā  Ā There is a difference, a large one.

    Is the digital readout an adaptation to the mechanical / electrical guageĀ  Ā  OR is the digital driven by its own sensor?

    Also post a few good , clear photos of each unit.

    Have you looked on the backs of the guages for mfgr. name andĀ  Ā model numbers.
