    Hi All,
What are the thoughts on reman QSC Bosch injectors. My local Bosch dealer has them at a bit over 1/2 the price of the new ones? My local mechanic say they haven’t seen a successful common rail reman done locally and suggested new.
    cheers Luke

    RECON Injectors vs. New

My experience has been that Cummins RECON injectors are “as new”.. As to buying rebuilt injectors from another source, no experience doing that, but that alone would not deter me from buying them from a well established aftermarket source if the $$ was a major factor.

    Hi Rob,
Mine have a lot more hours than yours. One side is original at 5700 hrs so a bit over the 4000 hrs line Cummins suggest.

I would think the reman should be cheaper. The price I got was cheaper and in AUD. I was direct to the local Bosch dealer, so not from Cummins in any way. I would think the new one will have no better warranty than a reman.

Logically the only used part in reman would be the housing they should replace all the internals?

    cheers Luke

    Bosch

Greetings, im in the throws of deciding on a new set of injectors. Havent made a decision yet.
Local cummins service had suggested reman units but they only have a 1 year warantee. For the price i would expect more. Dont like the idea of doing it again in the near future.

I only have 1100 hrs on them and no signs of have picked up bad fuel. Seems like its too soon fir replacing injectors.

A local trucking company sells reman injectors for $ 550. Ea. I havent priced new yet.

Is this in line with your knowledge of cost ?
