    I’m planning on upgrading my undersized Racor 500 series fuel filters to the double double system with the fs19596 filter that has the built in WIF sensor. My question is it possible to connect my existing WIF sensor wires from the Racor to the fleetguard filter?  I’m assuming this can be done or is this switch more extensive?  I don’t understand how the harness that comes with the quantum kit can be wired to the existing wires.  Photo of existing Racors attached with the WIF alarm wiring. Thanks!

    Thanks Tony.  I just have the standard VDO analog instrument cluster with the WIF alarm.  What do do you recommend, or what have others done that have converted to the double double on mechanical 6BTA’s?  Just omit the WIF alarm?

    Probably not  without some “OHMS” matching. What exact software/hardware are you using to have a working system on a mechanical 6BTA?  Do you even know that the system you have actually works? How do you test it?
