    I have a new to me Tiara with 500 HO QSC engines No’s 46543630,46545376. The engine tag says governed to 2500 RPM which is contrary to the prop curve I have seen on this site. At full throttle the engines reach 2560 which should be good according to the tag. The fuel burn is off but from what I can tell these engines need a different curve. The boat runs very well with 25 knots at 2100 RPM. Any thoughts or has anyone seen this as the rated RPM on these engines?

    The engine you’re referring to is correct at 490 MHP @ 2500 RPM. I have attached the curve for that engine.
