With the new dry riser advice says install a Pyrometer to measure EGT. But where? before the turbo? After the Turbo? On the Exhaust manifold? and what kind of temperatures should I be looking for before and after the Turbo? Thanks, Friz

Not sure what engine I am looking at (an old industrial MAN?) , but my experience is with engines in the 3-12 liter class and in the 30-90 HP per liter output.. Post some engine specs.. I prefer just after the turbo..
