     Gentlemen.

I just purchased a heat exchanger maintenance kit,  through Seaboard Marine.  If possible please, give me the guidelines on properly cleaning the exchanger with the supplied maintenance kit.

The only reason I purchased it was the pencil zinc,is broken off inside the exchange.

    It’s a 1999 Cummins 6BT 5.9 motor/ there is no after cooler…..

    thanks charlie

A 10% Pool acid/HCL w/water solution  for a couple hours and then soda ash to neutralize. Have you seen this?
