    what if I forgot to change oil filter befor changing oil. Can I do it afterwards, or does that affect the amount of new oil to the engine ?

    Oil change

    Thank you very much for this – I have new filters and will instal them. I was afraid the oil might all leak out if I did the filter change afterwards. But as I can read from your text – there is no danger.

    You can do it afterwards. Just fill the new one with clean oil before installing it.
