My Oil analysis came back with this flag: CHROME, IRON AND ALUMINUM ARE HIGH AND MAY INDICATE PISTON RING, LINER AND PISTON WEAR.

Go fishing and think about servicing the highest maintenance part on your engine.Ā  The saltwater cooled aftercooler if you operate is saltwater–It’s been 11 yrs & low engine hours mean nothing…………..

EngineĀ  GPH at 1800-1900 Cruse RPM is ??Ā

Post some pics of your exhaust systemĀ  no close ups–need to see it all

Sorry for the limited information. This is a 2003 SeaRay 480 Sedan bridge with 2 QSM11s. The oil analysis is after 1 year of our ownership. I have no knowledge of past ownership information. No symptoms of any kind with either engine. No smoke on start up. As an airplane owner, oil analysis is routine. Thanks for your help.

I guess we all must have a crystal ball…

    What exact engine?

Complete history of operation ?Ā  Yours and of past owners.

Any operating symptoms that would make to take an oil analysis?Ā

    Past history of oil analysis?
