Navy 5.9BT 180 rib

long time reader first time buyer. I recently purchased a very clean Navy Rib which has a 5.9BT1-180HP Cummins. I’ve attached picture bc I know you like to see it. <br />my question is what advice would you give for things to do check before using the engine. Also what kind of batteries do you recommend for the 24v system. <br />thank you

Do a full service to the coolant & seawater side on the engine.. Pre-lube if it’s been over a few months running running   Batteries– your call as to make & type—-  2 x Group 24 or one 4D would be my call as to size
