    Looking to upgrade from a vessel view 7 on my 16 Carver C40 with Cummins QSB 6.7l 380HP to the Mercury Vessel view 703.. I would think all the connections are the same. Has anyone upgraded?

    I only want to upgrade my unit. I have a Simrad NSS16 chart plotter and would like a similar unit to replace my old VV7. Simrad makes the new VV703, not Mercury

    What ECACTLY are you trying to accomplish?

    Are you sure you want ” Mercury Smartcrap”” to try andĀ  do that?
